Well, things are slowing down as students head back north. My Thursday morning class (at the Artist Nook) just finished the month of May, learning how to do a SERIES. Five related paintings that will hang together. They had to research their subject and make all the paintings relate in some way to each other. This is preparing them for putting together a gallery show someday. It is also a very good teaching technique to force you to try a subject in many different ways.
I don't have all the finished photos yet. Debbie and Penny did a series on Veggies, Nancy O did a series on Shore Birds (she will email her photos soon), Paige did a series on Palm Trees (no photos yet) and Jennifer A. is finishing up her series.
